New Album in the Works - The Final Curtain Call

Jim is currently in the studio producing his new album entitled The Final Curtain Call. This is an album which will be presented not unlike the classic “concept albums” of the 1970's. The Album has a premise; that being the initial attraction of a young boy to a life of fame and fortune and his eventual disillusionment and subsequent growing and learning.

The style of music chosen for this project is much akin to the music of the era stretching from about 1965 to 1985. That said, what is most important about this record is capturing the spirit of the time. For musicians/recording artists, these were very exciting times with new technological advancements springing up exponentially. The social consciousness and wonderment for the future were strong contributors in the music of the time, as is the case here.

The concept and vision for this project all spring from Jim's having lived his formative years in this period and his desire to recapture it's essence in a full length recording as opposed to simply a bunch of individual songs on a disc.
